About
Welcome! I am glad you stopped by! I am flattered you want to know more about little ol’ me and my blog.
I’m Rebecca, the anxiety-ridden, domestically challenged, socially inept introvert, accidental homeschooling, coffee loving mama. I will give you a moment to absorb all that.
Alright, times up.
Mommying is flipping HARD work. I know this because my anxiety reminds me of it every day. Somedays you feel like you have it all under control (kids are alive, clean, fed, and schoolwork is done) and other days you have boarded the hot mess express to frazzled town. Sound familiar?
If you are silently nodding your head or better yet saying “yup” out loud, then we are going to be the best of friends. I get you, mama. I SEE you. I SUPPORT you. YOU ARE DOING AMAZING!
If you were shaking your head and thinking “uummm, no that really isn’t me.” Well, we can still be friends but probably not besties. Sorry, but I will always question your honesty. J/K. Or, am I? 😉
Being a mom is hands down the most rewarding thing I have ever done in my life. But also, the most challenging.
Whether you have it all together, a little together, or just a hot mess all around, my goal here at Collecting Clovers is to be your go-to resources on all things home and family. I hope you find my honest posts on topics such as motherhood, raising kids, homeschooling, family finances, and travel informative, honest, thorough and helpful.
I hope to make you feel a little less alone, a lot more encouraged and fully supported in this incredible journey of motherhood. I want you to be successful the first time! I promise to be real and transparent with everything you come across on this blog. I will share what has worked for me and what hasn’t! Because listen, mama, we can’t all be perfect Pinterest moms. And that is perfectly OK!
So a Little More About Me
I am a wife to an amazing husband who despite my forgetfulness, mood swings, anxiety, ever-changing mind, run-on sentences, and lack of focus, still loves and supports me. I am a mom of 4 amazing two-legged kids (ages as I write this)
- Tman -18
- Kitty Kat -13
- Roo -11
- Lil’ Man- 19 months
I am also mom to 4 pretty cute (though sometimes bad) four-legged furbabies. I always joke if we add anyone else to the house I would need to start charging admission.
I have ADHD, Hypothyroidism (subclinical Hashimoto’s), Anxiety, and Fibromyalgia. My husband says it is time for an upgrade! LOL.
I hold a Masters degree in Instructional Design. Prior to homeschooling our children, I had a career as an Instructional Designer at a state university in Florida.
Some Other Things I Love:
- Laughter
- Sarcasm
- A good book or podcast
- Disney
- Four Letter Words
- Coffee! Hot, cold, over ice, room temperature, with froth, without froth, shaken or stirred…you get my point. Wanna win my heart? Bring me a big cup of joe.

A little disclaimer…let me begin by saying I am NOT a professional writer. I repeat I am not a professional writer. I am not an English major. I write from the heart and the majority of the time in a hurry. This blog will most likely contain grammatical errors that will drive grammar girls and boys crazy. I promise to try, but I make no guarantees!
For now, I am grateful for Grammarly! It helps me with most of my pesky grammar issues. So please enjoy my blog at your own risk. I can also promise that this blog will have real-life experiences, a sense of humor (cause if you aren’t laughing, you’re crying), a bunch of random thoughts and opinions, and hopefully a whole lot of entertainment.
